Saturday the Marshalltown Roundhouse was rocking as 8 teams were visiting Marshalltown for District Wrestling. The top 3 wrestlers from each weight class would move on to the State Tournament.

Seniors Xayvion Anderson and Johan Gomez both won their weight class on Saturday, punching their tickets.

Nick Wise was runner up, losing to the #1 ranked wrestler, Mac Crosson of Indianola.

Finally it was sophomore Colby Cross making a few upsets and punching his ticket with a 3rd place finish. The State Tournament will start on Wednesday this week at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines
