The Marshalltown Police Department fills the open Captain position last week by internal promotion. Sadie Weekley has been sworn in as the next Captain for the Marshalltown Police Department. The Marshalltown Police Department has 2 Captains, Weekley joins Captain Kiel Stevenson.

Captain Weekley knows she will be taking over the Citizens Academy, something Chief Jones previously handled. Capt. Weekley has taught a few of the sessions in previous years.

Captain Weekley appreciates all the support she has felt recently getting this promotion and says she loves working in this community and is ready for the next challenge.
