Marshalltown Recreation is gearing up for the summer, Recreation Supervisor Jenni Hart says she is taking applications for staff at the Aquatic Center, Summer Blast, Camp Marshalltown, and more. She says for anyone who wants to be a lifeguard they need to turn 15 at the end of their training.

Hart says lifeguarding is a great job to learn life skills like being safe around water, identifying dangerous situations, and working with others.
