The House of Compassion recently hired a new Executive Director, Jasmine Spikes, who moved to Marshalltown after graduating from Iowa State. She started in her role a little over 1 month ago.

Spikes says she has experience working in a commercial kitchen, so filling in for a nightly meal was no issue and she also know about safe food handling. Her studies in college were about anthropology but she does think there’s some things she can use in this new role.
