The Marshalltown Central Business District hired a new Executive Director earlier this year, Danielle Lekin. Lekin is from central Iowa and recently moved to Marshalltown with her family.

Lekin says that her family moved here last summer and the stars have aligned with finding this job. She talks about some of her job experience that she brings to this role.

She says the one thing she has learned in all of those roles is that the people are the most important part.
