April is Community College Month, and President of Iowa Valley, Dr. Anne Howsare-Boyans, talks about all the benefits that comes with attending a local Community College. She first talks about the cost benefit, and how community college is more affordable than a university.
Dr. Howsare-Boyans talks about how Iowa Valley has dorms for students to live on campus and get that feel like they are at a 4-year college.
Esports at MCC has truly taken off since its inception just a few short years ago. Dr. Howsare-Boyans says making life decisions as a recent 18-year-old high school graduate, or even in your early 20s can be a challenge.
She says Community College is also there for adults and people who may be looking to add a skill or make a career change.
