Last night the Marshalltown Bobcat baseball team hosted the Fort Dodge Dodgers for a double header.  It was errors and walks that helped the Dodgers sneak past the Bobcats last night in both games.  Game 1 the Dodgers beat the Bobcats 8 – 2.  Then in the late innings of game 2, the Dodgers pulled away again winning 11 – 5.  The Bobcats have a few days off before they hit the road to take on Waterloo East for a double header on Thursday this week.

The Bobcat softball team also hosted the Fort Dodge Dodgers last night.  The Dodgers brought their #3 ranking in class 4A with them last night and flexed their muscles.  The Dodgers beat the Bobcats 8 – 0 and 14 – 1, extending their winning streak over the Bobcats to 37 games.  The Bobcats are now 10 – 21 on the season and will play next Thursday when they travel to take on Waterloo East.
