Every year a Bobcat is named to the Hoop Award, which gives them a $1,000 scholarship for higher education.  This year, Caleb Kusserow, senior catcher for the Bobcats was the recipient.

Kusserow has been playing varsity baseball for multiple years, as a senior on a young team he has taken a leadership role this year.

Kusserow says multiple times his job is to prepare the younger guys for their junior and senior year.  Kusserow has been a staple behind the plate for the Bobcats for many years, but he loves it.
