Earlier this summer, Kim Elder, Marshall County Emergency Management Coordinator, told KFJB listeners about a tornado siren project happening across the county.  About 10 sirens have been installed, along with an upgraded system.

The upgraded system is able to notify them even when things aren’t working

Every Tuesday at 9am the tornado sirens will sound off unless there is a chance for inclement weather.
