When disaster strikes, like a tornado, it is tough to keep things organized individually, but especially across the city.  The Iowa Department of Transportation reached out to Marshalltown about debris clean up in the flooding for Northwest Iowa.

That is Scott McClain, he is part of the Emergency Management Team with the Iowa DOT.  Interim Fire Chief Cross was more than willing to help McClain and Northwest Iowa.

This debris management plan or clean up plan was put together by all the department heads in Marshalltown.  While each community is unique, this will be a great baseline for Spencer and other communities in Northwest Iowa affected by flooding.
