While Marshalltown has not had a city administrator, the city is still moving forward.  Mayor Joel Greer stepped into the role during the vacancy, but according to him, he was not the person who brought a sense of calm to the city.

Kendall has been sitting in the City Administrator seat during City Council meetings and filling that role there too.  Mayor Greer says that her time will overlap with the new City Administrator, Carol Webb, when she starts in September.

Mayor Greer says that Webb is already watching the City Council meetings on YouTube to come into the job and hit the ground running.
