The reason Marshalltown Schools are not starting August 23rd like majority of other schools across the state is due to the construction going on at the High School. Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Theron Schutte, gave an update when he stopped by the KFJB studio yesterday.
Dr. Schutte had mentioned that they will have a ribbon cutting ceremony for some of the projects being done over the summer.
The Tornado safe team room will be fully operation until at least the 2nd home game, but there will be enough done to do a ribbon cutting still. The CTE project will have its own ribbon cutting ceremony when all the furniture is in.
