This week is the Farm Progress Show just east of Boone and West of Ames off of Highway 30. Mark your calendars for August 27 – 29th, doors are set to open at 8am each morning. Matt Jungmann (Young-man) is the show director and has been going to shows for 30 years.
He says that farmers will come out to look at all of the latest ag technology and talk with dealers about new and improved products. Jungmann says all the dealers will be out to show off their best products, but there will be something for anyone walking through.
Jungmann says people can visit their website ahead of time to map out what they want to see, or find specific times for presentations done by suppliers
Tickets at the door are $25 or $15 if you purchase them ahead of time on the website. Farm Progress Show Facebook page is another source for information.
