The Marshalltown Police Department planned to do a K9 demonstration tonight at the Marshalltown Football League Fields.  This has been CANCELLED due to extreme heat.  This is a good reminder for pet owners that if you are uncomfortable outside, your pets are too.

There are Cooling Stations across town, the Marshalltown Library is open 9am – 7pm Monday – Friday.  Triumph Center is open from 10:30am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday.  House of Compassion is open for their nightly meal 5pm – 6pm Sunday – Friday.  Finally, St. Mary’s has Open Service till 8pm Monday – Friday.
