Yesterday, Iowans could begin requesting an absentee ballot for the November Election. Jessie Chizek, Deputy of Elections for Marshall County, shares how people can request the absentee ballot.
That office is the Auditor/recorders office located on the 3rd floor of the County Courthouse. She says that the absentee ballots would be sent out beginning October 16th. To request an absentee ballot, you do need to be registered to vote in Iowa. There are multiple ways people can make sure they are registered
There are many ways to check your registration and plenty of time before November 5th. Iowa does have day of registration, but it makes the voting process easier if you are registered ahead of time.
