The YMCA-YWCA are two separate organizations, but not every “Y” is a member of both.  The Marshalltown YMCA-YWCA is unique as they are one of the only places where both organizations are working together.

That is Marshalltown YMCA-YWCA CEO, Kim Jass-Ramirez.  She says the 2 organizations started in Marshalltown but shared the same building.  Now the organizations work together under one umbrella.
