Marshalltown Park and Recreation has multiple projects they are working on, one of which is the 6th St. Trail project. Director, Geoff Hubbard, shares what is going on with that project.
The bids for that project are out and they are due in a couple weeks. Marshalltown City Council will hold a public meeting on September 23rd. Another big project is out at Riverview Park. Bids were due on Tuesday.
This will add 4 pickleball courts, a new turf volleyball court, a new bridge over the lagoon and some horseshoe pits. That price does not include the new playground equipment.
