The Marshalltown Bobcat Cross Country Teams both Boys and Girls hosted the Bobcat Invite yesterday at the Marshalltown Community College Course. There were over 2300 runners at the meet, which is considered a mini-state meet.
The Boys earned 10th place overall and were led by Sophomore Preston Johnson. Johnson was 10th individually with a time of 15:27, he was followed clsely by John Moellers in 17th with a time of 15:43 and Carter Nunn in 23rd with a time of 15:51.
The girls finished in 18th place. The Bobcats were led by Anessa Morrison with a time of 22:01 earning her 96th place. Both Cross Country Teams will run next Tuesday at Des Moines Valley.
