Speaking of the fall colors, Jessica O’Riley touched on some hiking trails for folks to enjoy as leaves start to change.
You can also bike the 120-mile loop of the High Trestle and Raccoon River Valley Trails. As for some more hiking trails, Jessica touched on a personal favorite of mine up in northeastern Iowa.
There are also numerous water ways including the Upper Iowa River for Kayaking and Tubing, the Middle River Water Trail, or, you’d rather sit and enjoy the colors, you could hop aboard the Riverboat Twilight through October.
Needless to say, there are plenty of places across the state to take in all the beautiful fall colors as we head into the autumn months.
