Yesterday we were joined by Geoff Hubbard, the Marshalltown Parks and Recreation Director, and he talked about the $1.3 million approval for Riverview Park.

Hubbard says these improvements along with new lighting will allow people to get more activities in during the day and into the evening as late as 8 or 9 o’clock. Hubbard also adds that there will be some non-sports complex additions to be added.

All these additions should provide both kids and adults with so many more opportunities to get out and get active in their free time.
