Yesterday the Marshalltown Bobcat Cross Country Teams ran at the Marshalltown Community College Course for the District Meet. The Bobcats Boys team has grown a ton throughout the season and it showed last night. They finished with 3 top 10 runners, and sophomore Preston Johnson led the way.
Johnson won the event with a time of 15:32, Senior John Moellers was 3rd place and Junior Carter Nunn finished in 7th. The Bobcats upset Ankeny Centennial by finishing in 3rd place as a team and are now heading to State for the first time since 2010.
