Yesterday, we spoke with Marshalltown City Council Member Jeff Schneider who detailed an interesting debate regarding the parking ordinance.

Originally, the proposal for detached parking pads was to have them be concrete, asphalt, or paved, but the city voted this week to add another material to the list.

Jeff says he is against the change and will attempt to get that removed in their next meeting in two weeks.
