The Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown has plenty of Dogs and Cats for people to come out and adopt. But due to the large number, that means their facility is at or near capacity. Austin Gillis, Executive Director, shares that they will work with people to find a solution if an animal needs to be surrendered.
A couple times recently there have been animals crated up and left outside of the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown. That is putting those animals in terrible situations.
Gillis shares that they want to work with people and find the best solution for owners and their pets. Leaving pets at the animal rescue league like that also puts them in a tough position as they have no history of the animal.
There are over 100 animals at the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown. They are open Tuesday through Friday 11 – 5pm and Saturdays they are open 11 – 4pm. You can also visit their website, arlmarshalltown.com. My full conversation with Gillis is posted under Zach Chats
