Starting in July this year was the first phase of a $3 million renovation project at the Marshall County Sheriffs Office. Sheriff Joel Phillips shares that construction bid documents went out in November for phase 2. He goes on and talks about what phase 2 will include.

Sheriff Phillips goes on to mention some additional booking cells. This will help accommodate behavioral and individuals suspectable to self harm.

Bids for phase 2 are due December 17th at 4pm. They will open the blind bids on December 18th at the regular county board of supervisors meeting.
