In the Spring the Marshalltown Police Department holds a Police Citizens Academy. This is a 10 week course where citizens get to learn about what Police Officers do in their job and also build relationships with the Marshalltown Police Department.
That is future Marshalltown Police Chief Christopher Jones. He says the classes will begin on March 11th and they will meet once a week, on Tuesdays at 6pm, until May 13th.
Chief Jones says that at the end of the session is when the fun begins
If you’ve ever wanted to drive a Police Car legally, this is your chance. Reach out to the Marshalltown Police Department and Chief Jones to get registered.
