The Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce conducted a Business Retention and Expansion survey with local businesses. John Hall, CEO and President of the Marshalltown Chamber, talks about the feedback of amenities they received. The question asked about what barriers attract and retain workforce.

Beyond housing they received feedback about downtown revitalization. He says when the question shifted to specific barriers to immediate growth, the answers didn’t change much.
