The Marshalltown Mall has been a topic of discussion of “what’s next” for the last year or so. Kohen Retail Investment Group has not fulfilled their duty as the owner and let the mall suffer. An investment group from Dallas, Texas, Reserve Development, is looking to purchase the mall.

That is Co-Owner of Reserve Development, Jeff Strong. He says their specialty is large buildings and strip malls. Strong says this is not the first time they have bought a property from Kohen Retail Investment Group.

Strong plans to cash the check his mouth is writing.

Strong says that 30 million includes the purchase of the property and any renovations happening. He says there could be a family friendly area for youth ages 6 – 16. Listen to my full conversation with Strong tomorrow on Central Iowa Today at 12:45.
