Last night at the Marshalltown City Council Meeting, Mayor Joel Greer presented Police Chief Mike Tupper with an award. Mayor Greer presented him with the Distinguished Service Award for his 13+ years of service as Marshalltown Police Chief.
Mayor Greer gave Chief Tupper a plaque and the large crowd gave the Chief a round of applause. Chief Tupper then responds
Chief Tupper says it has been an honor to work for the community and citizens of Marshalltown. He then leaves a message for the next Chief, Christopher Jones.
After Chief Tupper spoke, City Councilor Mike Ladehoff spoke next
Ladehoff says the positive change in the Police Department is attributed to Chief Tupper’s leadership and commitment to the job. The Marshalltown Community Thanks Chief Tupper for his leadership and wishes him the best in retirement.
