Announced on Friday at Man on the Street, Julie Hitchens says the Community Foundation of Marshall County will be offering Onboard Training, How to be an Effective Board Member.

Hitchens says that the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines will be coming to do the training on Thursday, February 27th. The Martha Ellen Tye Foundation helped make this training free for any participant. Hitchens asks people to register ahead of time as there is limited seating.

That website is cfmarshallco.org. Head there to learn more or get registered for this Onboard Training. Doors will open at 5:30 on the 27th and they will be done around 8.
