It was senior night at the Roundhouse, but not in front of the Bobcat faithful. It was down in the Des Moines Roundhouse, the home of the Railsplitters of Des Moines Lincoln. The Bobcat girls played spoiler to the celebration as a strong second half, sparked by Kinsley Bowie and Morgan Hilderbrand, pushed the Cats to a massive 45-16 win, completing the season sweep of the Railsplitters. In the nightcap, the boys battled hard to a 20-18 deficit at the end of the 1st quarter, but the Railsplitters would take advantage of some early foul trouble from the Cats’ guards, and pulled away throughout the remainder of the game, returning the favor in sweeping the Cats with a 65-46 win. Marshalltown will return home to the more familiar Roundhouse this Friday when Des Moines East comes to town as both Bobcat boys and girls alike will look to sweep the Scarlets this season.
