We are officially into Cookie Season with the Girl Scouts of America. The Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa kicked off their Cookie sale just over a week ago and they are encouraging their girl scouts to sell cookies in a variety of ways.

That is VP of Marketing and Communications for the Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa, Samie Swinton. She says there is an easy way for people to find when and where cookies are being sold.

We are in rural Iowa, and there may not be a local troop doing a storefront sale in your community, and you may not know a girl scout. Don’t worry, Swinton says people can still support the local troop.

The money girls raise through cookie sales goes towards their Girl Scout experience, many girls will use the money to go to their summer camp. Head to girlscoutsiowa.org/findcookies to support a local girl scout troop
