The Friends of Marshall County Conservation put on the Live and Local Shows at Grimes Farm throughout the summer. These are free concerts to attend and they try to bring in different food trucks for people to snack on while listening to good tunes.

That is Conservation Director Emily Herring who says the full list of bands is in the newsletter that will be out this week. Herring goes on to describe all that the Friends of Marshall County Conservation does beyond putting on great concerts.

Herring says the Friends group raised over $100,000 for the playground equipment at Green Castle.
