The voters who live in the unincorporated areas in Marshall County will be voting on LOST, Local Option Sales Tax, on March 4th in a special election. LOST is a 1% sales tax on items sold in the county.

That Marshall County Supervisor Chairperson Carol Hibbs. LOST was voted down in the General Election and has been brought back for a Special Election on March 4th.

Early Absentee Voting is happening already at the Election Center in downtown Marshalltown, 106 1st Ave. People can also stop by the Auditor/Recorders office if they have any further questions about the special election.
