March is nutrition month, and it is a great time to review our diets and make sure we are getting all the nutrients that we need. As someone who grew up with the Food Pyramid, it was a surprise when I learned it has changed to the food plate.
That is Anna Riley, a Registered Dietician with Story Medical. Riley says with the rising costs at the grocery store, there still are ways to make some healthy cheap meals.
She then names a few ways to get protein without eggs
Riley says beans are also a great source of lean protein that is cheap. She says even as a Dietician she does enjoy sweets, moderation is key.
