Crop experts in the immediate listening area believe the harvest process will continue at a feverish pace over the course of the next several days. Iowa State Extension and Outreach Field Agronomist Steve Johnson says the soybeans need to be harvested now because of the dryness factor with the plants so they will be harvested in a hurry and then producers will harvest the remaining standing corn in the fields.
