There was a tribute to Vietnam veterans held at American Legion post 46 in Marshalltown Sunday. Families of three deceased veterans received Gold Star pins in a ceremony and there was a keynote speaker in Larry Spencer who was a prisoner of war in the Vietnam War. The event was moved indoors because of the hot weather. This year is the 50th anniversary of the war.
