Aa four county mass casualty drill took place near Gilman on Saturday.  The training involved two buses which collided, both turned over and there were multiple injuries of all kinds. Not only were units dispatched from throughout the four county area, two life flight helicopters responded to the drill as well. Marshall County Emergency Management Coordinator Kim Elder says the drill went well, with the the major issue being able to communicate. The accident occurred in a “low spot” which hindered radio transmissions. More evaluation of the drill will take place in the coming days.
