9 ponies were seized from on farm near Earlham in Madison County after Madison County Sheriff’s Office and Earlham Police Department responded to an animal neglect complaint.  WHO tv is reporting about 60 welsh ponies were found on the farm, many in terrible condition.  The owners were cited for neglect and improper disposal of two ponies that were found dead at the farm.  Authorities are working closely with police to ensure the rest of the ponies will get the care they need.
