The Marshall County Board of Supervisors is continuing to pave the way for a new sewer system in Green Mountain. With some of the tracts of land less than one acre in size, the DNR won’t allow new septic systems to be in installed. Installing a new sewer system in the community, says Supervisor Vice-Chair Dave Thompson, should unlock economic development.

The Supervisors hope if all goes well, construction on the community sewer system could start next year.
