In Hardin County, two Republicans and one Democrat are in the running for the Board of Supervisors. In Story County, two seats are being contested.
In House District 71, four Democrats are battling to take on incumbent Republican Dean Fisher come November. Four Democrats are hoping to unseat Republican Rod Blum for Iowa’s 1st Congressional Seat. There are also contested races for the congressional seats now occupied by David Young and Steve King.
