While some reports Saturday night ranged upwards of ten inches ion rain in Ankeny, Marshalltown and the surrounding area didn’t receive nearly that much rain. The national weather service says Marshalltown received 2.36 inches of rain on Saturday. That capped the June total at 7.59 inches for the month, nearly two and a half inches above normal for June.
