A one-woman show on the life and times of famed aviator Amelia Earhart will be staged this Friday at the Martha Ellen Tye Theater. Scholar and actress Leslie Goddard will share about the woman who disappeared while trying to fly around the world in 1937. Goddard says Earhart was more than just a pilot.

Sponsored by the Marshalltown Public Library, Goddard’s presentation on Earhart will begin at two o’clock on Friday afternoon.
