Tomorrow (Wednesday) will mark five months since the July 19th tornado. The process of repairing the Marshall County Courthouse is now ready to move to the actual repair phase. As for the cost of all the work, County Supervisor Chair Bill Patten says it is expected that will total roughly double of the initial 15 million plus estimate that was floated soon after the tornado. The reason, the insurance professionals keep coming across more and more water damage caused by the sprinkler system.
Among the work ready to begin, four massive beams will be installed through the clock tower to provide the support for the work to begin on the cupola.
