It may seem like a proverbial broken record, but the post-tornado housing prospects for Marshalltown continue to look promising. Like all other things, it just takes time. Marshalltown Mayor Joel Greer says the interest in the community is still out there.

Greer and the City Council are awaiting the recommendations from the consultant on the downtown master plan. Those should be coming to a City Council meeting the end of April or into May.
