An accident on Highway 30 sent one person to a Des Moines hospital and backed up traffic in the eastbound lanes yesterday afternoon.
A tractor pulling a mower was headed east between Highway 14 and 18th Avenue when it was rear-ended by a semi. The tractor driver was life-flighted to Des Moines. There is no official word on his condition. The driver of the semi was not hurt. The accident continues to be investigated.
