Among the many 4th of July activities, was one for a sidewalk. What makes this sidewalk special is that it connects the Freedom Rock with the F4 fighter jet on the grounds at the American Legion in Marshalltown. It took members of the American Legion Riders Post 46 three years to raise the funds and complete the work to connect and add to the two reminders of those in Marshall County who served their country.
