Marshalltown and Eldora are among the 39 communities receiving sharing in over 100-thousand dollars in tree-planting grants from Alliant Energy.

The utility company partners with Trees Forever “Branching Out” program to help replace trees damaged by storms or other situations, such as the emerald ash borer.

Marshalltown will receive $5,000, Eldora $1,582, Hubbard $1,000 and Dysart $500.00.
