If you have not stopped by the Salvation Army Thrift Store on North 13th Street in Marshalltown, chances are you have a pleasant surprise awaiting.
With the help of some repair work and donated paint from the 13th Street District, Captain Pam Kasten says the store is looking better all the time, both outside as well as inside.
The Captain says Sal’s Cupboard could continue to use some donations for the food pantry. Specifically, she says peanut butter, jelly, and baking items are in short supply.
