It was a milestone weekend for the police and fire departments in the City of Marshalltown. Move-in time for the new Fire and Police Building.  Fire Chief Dave Rierson agrees with the thought that it’s been a long time in coming.

Rierson says the relocation really kicked in when he began going through all the files in the soon-to-be-vacant building. Some will go with him to his new office, others will be disposed of.
