Four people were hospitalized after an incident late last night in Stuart

The Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation says after three deputies and one occupant of a Stuart apartment complex were hospitalized while executing an arrest warrant.

Iowa DCI Special Agent Adam DeCamp says authorities reported that shots were fired around 10:43 p.m. Four people were injured, including three Guthrie County sheriff’s deputies and an occupant of the apartment.

Authorities said all four people were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Of those injured, two deputies and the apartment occupant were shot.
